Hey there šŸ‘‹,

In this issue, we discuss:

  • Cost per subscriber

  • Building in Public

  • Newsletter Consistency

Cheers!

Ā šŸ’µ Cost per Subscriber

When growing your newsletter, you either, acquire subscribers organically or through ads (some people also buy existing newsletters).

The cost then depends on the quality of the lead.

And of course, a new subscriber doesnā€™t have the same value as an ā€œengagedā€ subscriber.

We also see it when you buy and sell a newsletter. Duuce value active subscribers (people who actually open your emails) at a rate from $2.5 - $8 per active subscriber depending on the niche and the quality of the newsletter and is adapting to the market.

We will certainly see more data come out in the next few years.
