The most common data used to determine if newsletters are successful are usually:

  • the Open Rate (OR): ranging from 60% and above for amazing, from 50%-60% for great, from 40%-50% for good, and demanding work for anything below that.

  • The Click-through rate (CTR): ranging from 15% and above for amazing, from 8%-15% for great, from 5%-8% for good and demanding work for anything below that.

However, a lot more data can be used as well!

A new trend seems to be surfacing the last couple of months.

Mailing tools like Beehiiv and other tools like Elevenlabs came up with features that allow you to convert your newsletter into a ā€œpodcastā€ sorta, say.

You could basically create an audio version of your newsletterā€¦ how cool!
