☝️ One More Thing
It’s almost been a year since the last Newsletter Conference, and here are 3 things I remember after all this time:
1- It’s awesome to see newsletter creators you read and interact with online the whole year in real life! It’s a little intimidating to be honest but pretty cool, and hearing them in panels is super insightful. There were some really smart and talented people! (Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself)
2- Size is not the most important: The game is not just about racking up subscribers, it’s about building a community that actually cares. Newsletters thrive when readers reply, share, and interact. The most profitable and lasting newsletters aren’t the biggest; they’re the ones with the most engaged audiences. (So feel free to interact 🙂 )
3- I did not attend the parties around the event, and that I would definitely like to, I have heard only good things, and you do bond better around drinks then when you are focused in a conference room. (do take notes, and ask questions if you get the chance)
I also remember being super impressed by the panel with Adam Ryan and Jacob Donnelly, just wow, the knowledge and expertise was so great to witness!
