🧹Cleaning your Database
It’s that time of year again, or maybe you have better habits with cleaning your database.
Indeed, just like your fridge or your Instagram’s followers need a little cleaning every so often, it’s the same with your newsletter subscriber’s database.
How to make sure the subscribers you delete are in fact people who do not read your newsletter?
Chennell Basilio realized that when she sent over a campaign to supposedly “inactive subscribers” some of them replied to say they always open her newsletter.
This implies, as we know, that we cannot trust the data 100%…
And we have to take precautions to be sure to only delete actual inactive subscribers!
I set up a campaign a few months ago telling people they needed to click a link to stay subscribed.
A few replied saying they always open my emails...
But the software doesn't show that, and some block the tracking links. Curious how you know you weren't deleting readers?

If it’s your first time, start slowly, make sure you classify your subscribers well, then DELETE!
Even if it’s never fun to see your graph looks like that, it’s for the best :)
